Flush Mount Album Style
What exactly is a flush mount photo album?
A flush mount photo album allows for seamless, uninterrupted single prints on each side of an album spread. To ensure durability, the photographic print is affixed to a sturdy mount board, maintaining a 'flush' alignment with the edge of every page.
This meticulous process results in album pages that elegantly lay flat when opened, and with prints extending to the very edge of each page, leaving a lasting impact.

Album Print Pages
Flushmount album pages are made by mounting a True Photographic Lustre (silver halide) print onto a Medium core thick (1.5-1.75 mm) card. These pages are durable and have a substantial feel to them.
Lustre paper produces accurate skin tones, with a neutral tone scale from highlights to shadows. Lustre offers bold rich blacks, clean whites and more vibrant colours.

Print Technology - Silver Halide technology
All our albums are printed using Silver Halide technology. In a nutshell, silver halide prints are exposed using light instead of ink, digital files instead of film negatives and a printer instead of a darkroom.
Silver halide prints are also great for recreating natural skin tones, shadows and highlights, and deep blacks and brilliant whites. Since the dye is embedded within the paper itself instead of deposited on top of it, the print is less likely to smudge and is scratch and water resistant.
Even more impressive is that silver halide prints can typically withstand deterioration caused by light exposure for approximately 60 years, giving them an archival quality.

Unless you choose to upgrade, all our albums are presented in our standard soft suede bag and grey presentation box.
The silk-screened box has been a popular feature of our this album since 1995. It combines two graphic elements, a 17th Century Italian calligraphic text, and a series of leaf and heraldic devices including our own Cherub
Designer Album Box
You can upgrade to Designer Boxes for your album. You can order them plain or embossed (Companion embossing - same as on the album). Designer Album Boxes are only available in our Buckrams and Linens covers. Choose a colour to suit your album .
